Who we are
This website belongs to Salaamat Publications. This page explains what information the website collects and how it is used.
Reading and downloading kitaabs
You do not need an account to read or download any kitaab, and we do not ask for any personal details to do so.
Contact form
When you send us a message, your name, email address and message are emailed to us so that we can reply. We use these details only to answer you and do not share them with anyone.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that messages are sent by people and not by automated programs.
Website logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages visited, to keep the site secure and running well.
Visitor counts
To know how many people use the site and which kitaabs and lessons help them most, we count visits to pages, PDFs read or downloaded, recordings played and searches made on the site. We use no cookies and store nothing on your device. Your internet address is never stored: to count each visitor once a day it is combined with a secret code that changes every day, and only that scrambled result is kept, for two days at most. What we keep are daily totals, such as the number of visitors from each country, which cannot identify anyone. The country is worked out from your device’s time zone or language setting. Search words are kept for 13 months. Nothing is shared with any other company.
